In connection with the 90th anniversary celebrations of the independent parish, the Church was renovated and Perpetual Adoration Chapel was built in the year 2021.

Little Flower Church Pottakuzhi  is the first church in Asia in the name of St. Theresa of Lisuex. Pottakuzhy Church is famous for its Thirunal which falls on the first week of October. LFC Pottakuzhy is a large parish with approx 5500 parishioners. There are around 15 associations in the church mainly for social wellfare, environment wellfare and to support the deserving. The Church recently got recognized for its environmental friendly & farming activities by the archdiocese of Verapoly.
